“What is this strange place we’ve found?
Stellarbot 377, pull up the galactic map and see if you can find anything about this strange new place.”
“Yes sir.” A machine begins working ferociously-Beep boop beeep beep boop…
“Sir, my findings tell me that it’s a very unique universe.
Records indicate that this brightly colored galaxy feeds off of different forms of creativity.
In fact, the more creation that happens, the more the galaxy seems to grow. It thrives on the stuff.
The name of the universe is called Mi-zai-mee.”
“Mi-zai-mee? Hmmm, interesting. That name sounds awfully familiar. Anyway, thank you for the assessment, Stellarbot 377.”
“Of course sir.”
“Well, it’s definitely a pretty place. With so many bright neon orbits, planets, and moons, I wonder if we traveled to all of them and tried to create something too if we could make the galaxy grow as well.
Man, would that be exciting to see!”
Suddenly constellations begin to light up all over the bright blue fur of the space commander.
An idea is beginning to form.
“I know, why don’t we go on an adventure and journey to all these odd looking planets?
We could keep record of it too since that is technically my job as the galactic record keeper.
Stellarbot 377, please create a digital journal book where we can keep a record of our travels in this strange new nebula.
In fact, let’s title the journal Nebula Scribbles.
(Oooh I’m feeling tingly with the excitement of creativity already.)”
“Yes sir.”
The robot starts working hard again – beeeeep bo bop boop bee bop bop boo.
“Here is the digi-journal you requested, sir. I hope you find it satisfactory.”
“Yes! This is great. Thank you Stellarbot 377. You’ve done a wonderful job.
Also, please stop calling me sir? You know I’m a girl, right?
Just call me Mizamie the Kozmik Kitty.”
“My apologies sir, I mean sire, I mean, (sigh), Mizamie.”
“Ha ha ha, you seem to have a funny streak Stellarbot 377. I like that.
Laughing always makes things better. Be sure to keep that trait ready at all times.”
“Making that adjustment to my main frame now sir. The funny trait is now being downloaded.
Beeeee booo bop bop bop boing.
The process is now complete.
Funny streak has been fully activated.”
“Great! Now please mark in my galaxometer, for a couple of kruples from now, that we will be starting a new project.
Title it – “Journey of the Neon Planets.”
Come to think of it, I wonder if there is any alien life on all those brightly colored balls out there?
If so, I sure hope they’re friendly.
I don’t see how anyone could be mean living in a universe like this, but there’s always a bit of darkness lurking even in the brightest of places.”
“Yes, Siramie. I mean Mizamie. (Ugh). Honestly, this whole name change thing is going to take some getting used to. My system will have to work all the bugs out, so apologies in advance.”
“No worries. It’s fine my metal companion.
As a matter of fact, I think you also should have a new name. From now on, your nickname will be Stella.”
“That name sounds appropriate. Thank you, Mizamie.
Oh, wait just a moment sir, I mean ma’am. I’m receiving something else.”
The machine ferociously begins to whirl and whizz bee boo boo boop bop pob bo –
“I have more information regarding the name of this unusual galaxy sir – boop boop beee bope bope bip.
It’s actually not pronounced Mi-zai-mee.
The correct pronunciation sounds oddly, just like your name.
The name of this neon colored universe is also called MizAimee.”
“What? How odd.
So my name sounds just like the name of this universe, only it’s spelled differently?
Huh, how serendipitous!
Now I definitely want to see what these planets are all about.
But, we’ll have to do that later.
It’s now time for lunch, and am I famished.
Why don’t we stop for now and go downstairs to the Comet Canteen for some Stardust sandwiches and asteroid chips, my treat.”
“Sounds good to me sir, I mean Mizamie.
But I do want to clarify one thing.”
“Yes Stella, what is that?”
“Well, I can’t eat the kind of stuff they have in the Comet Canteen.
Sadly, I’m allergic to stardust…”
